I think you'll need to flip the stem if you want to do bar spins
I dont think it would spin anyway :) Needs 26" front or something if I wanna do that. It's mainly for lols/statement about artistic cycling vs fixed freestyle/trolling/because I got fever and got bored with all this free time on my hands.
Gonna try it for some time though, as the roads are in pretty bad condition at the moment anyway, so that upright position aint even bad.

about the nelson, its photographed outside my apartment, every time I come in I put it straight into shower room, rinse and leave there to dry.
Front brake + ice = death. In normal riding conditions I am pro frontbrake but making exception now because it only makes riding more dangerous and gets snow stuck.

That sounds like you ordered a 2011 bike, they are due on 18/1. I bought a 2010 bike (it actually arrived today less than 24 hrs after we ordered it).
If it's the 2011 you want specifically then it will be a two week wait, if you just want a Steamroller regardless, or in fact prefer the 2010 spec (they have a few differences), and if you want to save about £50, you could try asking at the shop if they can revise the order to a 2010 for you.
Of course, because the '10 is obsolete you can't get all sizes now from the distributor, have a look on Ison Distribution under track bikes to see if your size is available. You can't order from Ison, a shop has to do that.
Ignore all that if you want a 2011
Hope that helped.
It is in fact 2010 cream one. I live in finland and the shop ordered it directly from Surly. First I had one coming from evans but they cancelled it and gave money back + 25e (for not being able to keep their promise) because there wasnt any in europe or something.

I still love that Eddy Merckx, sure it look weird with a flat bar, but it's damn more practical than the previous set-up and actually kept the gears, i'd ride that.
Still look like he need to raise the stem or lower the saddle though.
Probably with silver stem and silver risers I would ride it too to piss off old steel is real roadies. But still if the owner wants a hybrid he should get one instead of lo pro.

As opposed to all those uber practical brakeless, 24" front wheeled lo-pros? If I had to have only one bike, I know what I'd rather have.
yes both extremes seem kinda pointless, and I do admit owning a pugsley probably would be vicer (for me for example, 60cm snow here in helsinki at the moment), but still my opinion is that they are ugly -> not porn.

rainbow lopro is pretty much cool par excellence. (the thing that bothers me about the foto is the fotographer who isnt standing straight opposite to the bottom bracker but few feet to the left/rear of the bike. It is so easy to make it right, doing it wrong seems so, wrong. )
