Yeh the variation of announced & real life size kept me hesitant of going for the 28s. And as my new rims are 18mm inner (up from 16mm) there was too meny variables to take chances of having a too tight fit.

Yeah what others have already said: slam it to the front and have the thing about level (if imagining a book on top of it)

Also try to sit quite far back on it. It might not be as obvious at first try.

the basic novatec hubs set they offer is 771/772 which is more of a mtb/cx hubset in my opinion.

those are quite heavy considering 411/412 novatecs are 331g per set, which is about the same weight as multiple times pricier road sets from tune, dt swiss etc.

was supposed to get about the same set (55 rims, 411/412 straight pull novatecs) for a bit higher price fully built up from LB but they couldnt get the hubs I wanted, they didnt have the cheaper dt swiss available in 24/24 and I couldnt be arsed to pay 300 extra for the pricier dt swisses.

cant remember which one is 240 and which one is 350 but yeah.

the rims are from LB (light-bicycle), the rest sourced from ebay (hubs) and bike24 (aero comps, brass nipples). Built up by my lbs.

they are cn*carbon 38mm. They are now summer/go fast wheels for my orlowski.

the rims were 170dollars a piece with 100ish shipping, hubs 100e with shipping, spokes+nipples 80e

first I was going to order them built up from LB but they didnt have any hubs below 350 in 24/24

L-B rims 55mm (tubeless rdy, will use schwalbe one in 25mm), aero comp spokes, brass nipples, nova 411/412 sp hubs

my work/cx bike is zona. Decent tubing, feels a bit flexy at bb compared to something like caad but still quite light and stiff enough for its purpouse

I have these, I admit they are not the best looking road shoes but quite easy on the eyes compared to some other bonts.
