If you happen to be Samoan I have always liked the Pe'a. The dudes who have them know that they are more rad than the dudes without them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pe'a

Last night I stopped at the Portuguese wine store downstairs from my house. The dude's mom (I think?) has started selling baked goods and tapas from there too.
I had a slice of what was called "tuna kuchen" or tuna cake. It looked like a quiche and tested like an awesome tunafish casserole but in cake form. I looked online to find a recipe or something but could only find these kind of fried patty type things which aren't the same at all. Do any of you know what that thing is called? Or is it just something special that she makes? I bet it is case number two.

Why have the photos disappeared??
You served them from some apple site who are giving out expiring urls to the direct images. You probably have to host them some other place imgur.com or flickr or somewhere else that does not mind direct linking. Or just upload them here with the fancy new upload thing.

Looks palæo to me. Those carbs aren't processed, they are just fried. I'm sure the cavemen fried shit all the time. I mean, if you are going to eat insects, eggs, and baby animals* it has to be fried, yeah?
*I saw on wikipedia this quote about chimp's diet
about 95% plant-based, with the remaining 5% filled with insects, eggs, and baby animals.

This hugely useful1 post by @1000archangels http://www.lfgss.com/comments/9001374/ now has a bunch of broken images because they were attachments (I think). Is there any chance it can be revived?
1 to me at least because I have just purchased sram s500 levers

What scares the hell out of me about those gifs is that the people never seemed to be tied on to the structures, and you can see the wind up there.
It's possible that these guys are slightly safer than the Ukrainian dude (well clearly since they aren't doing pullups hanging over the edge.) I think they have or may have ankle straps. Not that an ankle strap is rad safety or that I would hang out and eat a banana with one on.
Still gopro is probably responsible for more deaths than McDonalds.

I have been recommended Hallucinations and The Minds Eye by Oliver Sacks. Apparently the books are more general but written in an interesting and compassionate way. I haven't read them though. I did read An Unquiet Mind which was somehow comforting. I think it was just nice to hear from someone going through a similar thing and writing about it in a technical way. It was more to my side of crazy though. Good luck to you.
