Wiggo on tattoos was the worst:

The next project is a knight on my chest. I told him I wanted something to commemorate my knighthood and then we worked off each other about what a design would look like. We’ve come up with an angelic knight in armour based on Henry V, who was the first English king to conquer France. That held comparisons with my Tour de France win and then off that we did some floral stuff around it. I’ve also had '101' engrained on the back of my arm as that was my race number from the Tour. The idea then is to get a George and the Dragon piece on the other side.

That sounds like a thing for sure. Mine were in shell at ~64* for 45 minutes. results were just the thing cracked into the soup/chili and made it all the better. Poached eggs make most things better. Life, for example, is one of the things.
*set in the bonavita it goes up and down a few degrees and doesn't circulate.

1991:
Faliraki 10 years later still comes second.
I googled 'Faliraki 2001' and found this picture of what the scene must have been like (Fully clothed but I believe a questionable 'hot dog eating context' so NSFW?) https://secure.flickr.com/photos/andrewgwyther/962841889/in/photostream/
The most offensive thing about it is the mouths of the two dudes.

Speaking of, I am currently using this Bonavita Variable Temperature Digital Electric Kettle, 1 litre, 1000 watts: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home
to make these
http://momofukufor2.com/2010/01/slow-poached-eggs/as part of a "leftover spicy bean and cabbage soup with two slow cooked eggs" lunch.
That temperature controlled kettle is the best. I use it for all sorts of things, including making coffee.

Maybe you just need to turn to some of the leading track bike manufacturers of the day for advice on how to ride them:

I am pretty sure the answer is: walking next or doing keo spins. Otherwise the brittle aluminum will fail.

In other news, this happened a half block from my inlaws house: http://abc7news.com/news/subject-of-fbi-raid-in-sf-may-have-had-ricin-stash/87278/
The dude who they are looking for seems like a caricature of a standard SF bro-type. At least if his twitter is to be believed.

^^^^ There is a pretty big difference between somebody with an almost mad, ambitious, plan to make something weird and cool for themselves and somebody selling curved, wooden, potentially unsafe, dildo bars isn't there?
I always like the people who create these projects for themselves, whether it is a homade cruise missile, a car that runs on cola, a ponytailed dude who makes his own standing MRI machine, or even a self-built wooden bicycle.

1994
I lived in small town Northern California. It was the tiny skateboard wheels, sagging pants, 3xl shirts era. All of my hesher friends cut their hair short around then. Family life hadn't totally devolved yet but it wasn't good. I stayed away as much as I could usually bumming around town Thursday to Tuesday. Everyone was bored all of the time. Lots of 40oz at older friend's houses. Speed and pills when we could get them. I was an angry piece of shit. I hadn't considered internalizing anything at that point and despised the world. I was a tall, skinny stick of hate. I did good in school that year somehow. I think that year was the year I was too cool to go and see Jawbreaker and Fifteen(?) play even though I really liked both bands. That was typical of the poor decision making I was doing at the time. Also I didn't fingerblast anyone. I feel like this was a boring 'best and worst about being 17'. I am nicer, more open minded, more self aware, and listen to more interesting music now. Too old though.

Yeah man, just heat the water up to temp, then carefully lower the eggs into the kettle with a spoon (careful not to break the shell). Then go back to work for 45 minutes, then eat lunch ;)
That kettle keeps things roughly the right temperature (via integrated PID I think).
