really good example of a beater, a bike that does what you want it to do, rather than how you like it to actually look.
its is like sellotape. used in professional insulations to seal panels together. it is aluminium i think. can be peeled off little bit at a time.

back to replicas for a second -I think some people might be surprised by the quality of some of the reps available for not very much money. I got this one I got from MilitayTime.
I made the strap with an old swiss ammo pouch and a few tools off ebay.
Are the quality of these watches alright? I see the aesthetic value but I'm curious if they keep time, have longevity, basically properly made. Very interested. I don't want a knockoff I won't use.

One statement that might get rid of the debate:
There should be a thread dedicated to rat bikes so that I don't have to see these "beaters." If I wanted to look at shit bikes I'd look at everything locked up on campus.
