In a couple of weeks I may well be in position to purchase a PM at long last, so am doing a final round of reading and reviewing. I'll almost certainly be going for a P2Max S Type on Rotor 3D24 to fit a BSA68 frame. The cost of the PM, Praxis rings, BB, BB tool (definitely needed??) and shipping is about £950.
I was just checking Powermeter24 and noticed this on offer for £750-

Now I know little about Quark and am about to go and start reading up, but if anyone can offer any thoughts or experiences of Quark I'd appreciate it. -

As has been said, using virtual power means comparing numbers with anyone (including others using virtual power) is pointless. Some turbo's are supposed to provide fairly realistic numbers, which is the reason I bought a KK Road Machine, but who knows really?
The only thing it's really useful for is as a metric to track your own progress. Even then, it's reliant on consistency of setup in terms of tyre pressure and force applied to the roller against the tyre.

Paging both @scherrit and @bluerip00 on this one as I'm not sure if this is simply a muscle imbalance issue or a bit of fit too.
I've been experiencing a bit of knee pain over the last couple of weeks. It is on the inside of the left knee and builds over the course of about 2 hours riding and disappears after about two days rest. This has happened twice now and each time I've tested the knee on the turbo to check all is well before hitting the road again. Both times I've had no pain on the turbo (60-90 mins at tempo/threshold), but the pain has come back on the road.
I've just finished another hour on the turbo after letting the knee recover over the last few days and I've made some observations.
My knee tracks perfectly when putting down power. Tempo and upwards the mechanics look to be fine. As soon as I lift off I can see my knee flick out slightly at the very top of the pedal stroke unless I really concentrate on keeping everything in line. Back on the power and tracking is good once again.
I saw @bluerip00 a while back about an ITB issue on my other knee that was a result of muscle imbalance. The strengthening exercises worked and the pain went. I'm assuming this is a similar problem and have started the same strengthening and stretching programme as last time in the hope it'll prove as effective. We will see.
If anyone can offer any advice or help explain why this is happening when soft pedalling, but not under power, I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks, Tom

I was trying to make the opposite point. That even if (when) the waterproofing treatment is washed away the jersey still works brilliantly in terms of wind proofing and temperature regulation. I think it particularly suits those that aren't too skinny and run warm. That description fits me (5'11" and 70kg) and with the correct weight base layer it covers me from +2 to +15 degrees.

Positives:
Warm
Waterproof
Breathable
AwesomeNegatives:
Large portion of remaining wardrobe rendered obsoleteYep, that about sums it up. In my experience though, it won't stay as waterproof for more than a few washes unless you're very careful. The good news is that even when soaked you will still be just the right temperature.
