As title - I'm after a rear wheel with a white deep rim laced to an 8/9/10 speed Shimano free hub. Rim like H+Son SL42, or Velocity Deep V, or any of those generic hipster rims you find on 6UK, Espresso, Mango, etc etc.

Basically the 'hipster' look, in white, but with gears. They're a dime a dozen in fixed/SS/flipflop, but haven't ever seen any on a freehub. Anyone know if these are stocked somewhere, or happens to have one lying around? Might consider alternate colours too...

Would prefer to avoid spending the £80-100 getting one handbuilt from parts if possible, for now :)

Does anyone have a short (6-8 inches?) 24mm seatpost (fits 80s Peugeots) lying around they'd like to offload?

I have a really long one (about 15 inches) in the bike currently, which just seems unnecessary, and is also blocking a bottle cage screw/boss.

Happy to swap or buy.

I might just cut the current seatpost down, but seems a shame/waste given these are apparently quite hard to get a hold of.. so seeing if there's any alternative out there

Can Velocity 'Deep V' rims be built onto a geared (e.g. 8 speed freehub) hub? Or are they designed to be fixed/SS only?
