Anyone remember the name of an Australian tv show/miniseries from late 90's or early 2000's about corrupt cops?
It started with a bunch of guys holding up a bank, then running around the corner and getting away in an unmarked police car. There was also a memorable scene where a bloke was thrown off a boat, tied to something heavy like a barbecue.
My google-fu is weak tonight, I just can't find anything which fits my memory. -
That's nothing, there was a Spitfire squadron based at Northolt which played polo on motorbikes...

Much more expensive, but charity, innit?

Griso MOT'd and serviced after basically 18 months of sitting under a sheet. Lovely to get out and about on it today.
Bonus points to Corsa Italiana for having The Colour of Spring by Talk Talk playing in the workshop when I picked it up.
Also, seriously lusting after this...

They said they would only sell it to someone who truly appreciates that it will be extremely expensive to maintain, and that it definitely not something to commute on. -

The conservative party has been split since John Major, that would not stop them all throwing their weight behind whichever of them surfaced after Cameron lost a vote of no confidence.
Boris has probably pissed off too many of them to effectively lead the party. Smart money says Osborn, Gove or May would end up as the next PM. -

After a long and hard deliberation of the facts made available by both sides, and being utterly repelled by the negative campaigning and selective quoting of facts by both sides, I have decided.
The most useful thing to do in situations like this is to think, "What would George Galloway do?", and then do the opposite.
For this reason, I'm in.

New boots time. Shiny or not so shiny?

The less shiny ones are a bit more expensive, but better quality I'm told, with a better lining and a thicker grade leather sole. -

Is the Taste festival thing in Regent's Park worth going to?
Seems pretty expensive, in that you pay for entry, then have to pay for food once you're inside. Do you get freebies?
