Depends on distance and terrain - if it's flat, muddy and between tent/house/bothy and pub - probably....

If it's anything uneven, rocky, not muddy, then you could be in much trouble with no ankle support, so risk of a twist, and no grip either from a pair of wellies.

I got a £50 fine for not returning a bike until 3am... except I'd actually returned it at 5:25pm and their docking station showed a green light but didn't register it.

It's been a month since they agreed to refund, and still no refund.

And my bank ( smile.co.uk ) are useless, they will only do a chargeback if I have a refund voucher or proof that a refund is due from the retailer, yet the retailer... Barclay's Cycle Hire / Serco... are so inept that their first line support doesn't even know whether the refunds are being processed or who is doing them. All they claim is that some guy in Birmingham is working through them... "some guy"!

My £50 still awaited from the 8th of May ...... Apparently it is in the Q to be repaid soon.....

I don't know about you but if I've got a new 'best friend' who also happened to be Prez of the US of A.... I wouldn't naturally refer to him by his surname. I know this is all a bit neuro-linguistic -programming, but does make me think Cameron (acceptable, he's not my friend) doesn't really rate Mr Obama (he's not my friend, but I'll happily show him some respect) as if he did he wouldn't just refer to him by his surname.
