So great to see the chemistry between Tao and Rohan - that must have been one hell of a tight team last year after Geraint crashed - I hope they get to do it again sometime and Dave B's promise of fantastic racing hasn't been forgotten already - not sure after today's giro stage, but we'll see.
Can't wait to see some buccaneering form Tao in the TdF this year, let's hope he gets off the leash!

^ and a good pull from Ganna:) What a stage, just fantastic, was on the edge of my seat for 90 minutes, bonkers stuff. Just watched the breakaway on Eurosport, Brad seems to be a good mate of Tao, and said he talks to him a lot - Surely having Brad & GT on speed dial (and maybe Bernal, Froome, Carapaz) does a huge amount for TGH's confidence and tactics compared to what I am sure will be an uncomfortable team dinner in teh Sunweb camp tonight. The interview with Dennis from this morning when Tao intererupted and the both cracked up makes a good rewatch now- With all the stage wins in the bag, Ineos have to be all in on Saturday to make a cracking stage...

So any thoughts on what Ineos are going to do now? Still with a full team...they've gone quiet after G's abandon....Is Teo the new leader? Or are they "going for stages" Normally when they lose a leader, they are pretty quick with annoucing the change in strategy. Obviously there wasn't going to be a big GC battle on stage 5 when Ganna went off alone. After Pogacar beating all the old guard in the tdf...does Tao have the numbers for the 3rd week? Have to think after the emergence of younger riders in the tdf, that the old guard of Nibali/Fuglsang/Kruijsiwijk might be ecilpsed... Ganna as a last man to launch Tao has to be a plan at some point, right??

Sorry for off topic - Matera is amazing - not big on "luxury" hotels myself but we did two nights here one easter and the rooms/caves are just fantastic;
https://www.sextantio.it/en/legrottedellacivita/matera/Really well done, and even at winter temps outside, very cozy. Outside of tourist season, town's a bit dead, but some good hill walking and you can explore the abandoned caves, of which there are many...top fun with a 6 year old. Oh, there's an Indiana Jones style "rope" bridge across the gorge too...terrifying. Would be an excellent base for a cycle tour too, but no experience...

Hoping that Ineos put some weight behind Tao for the GC rather than switching into "stage hunting" mode straight away. Unlikely I know, but would be great to see. Just got 80/1 on him for the overall... He seems such a lovely chap- how happy he was at Ganna's win makes me think that the team will work for him willingly later in the race.

Normally has the tour on in the courtyard out the back and inside too.

Afternoon. Dunno if you are after something more conventional, but I have this up for sale, it's certainly big enough; https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/349414/#comment15352135
I stuck it on ebay as it didn't get any interest on here, would be happy to end the auction to avoid having to post. Ben.

If there's anywhere this build might find some love it's here I reckon.
I built this to commute on a few years back, riding fixed at the moment, so gave this to my wife, who thinks it looks stupid. She's wrong obviously.
Pretty compliant for an AL frame, and large at 62cm c2c. I can just ride it with a 32" inside leg.
No cracks in the welds, two small dents, one on top tube, on on seat tube, not structural. There's a few small scrapes which could be polished out with some elbow grease. the top tube gets very shiny from swinging your leg over.Dura ace double chainset and Dura ace downtube shifters (indexed on Front mech) 105 front and rear Mechs and 10 speed 105 cassette. Teeth on chainset good, cassette maybe 1000 miles left as wear beginning to show.
Prolite 650c handbuilt wheels, with decent Conti tyres. There's a wear ring through the black on the front wheel where I rode it with badly set up brakes for a bit. Deda stem and Bontrager AL seatpost. Forks are Time carbon with an AL steerer.
No idea what this is worth, will split if no interest. £275 ono?
More photos available .

@Sheppz I'm just about to advertise a Beinn 20 Large in teal ...just cleaning it up and photographing it. Looking at prices on ebay, I reckon £220 without mudguards, £235 with would be about where I price it. PM me if you want first look to save me writing an ad :)

There's obviously a lot of variables to put into this model, but I struggle with their outputs, when you consider us vs the US...
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/apr/07/uk-will-be-europes-worst-hit-by-coronavirus-study-predictsReally, really hope this is wrong otherwise the next two weeks in the UK will make Italy look like a piece of cake :(

RIP fellow rider, Such terrible news.
This is the worst spot on my daily commute, that's where right turning cars cross a queue of cars in order to get into McDonalds. In 12 years I have had a few close ones there. If anyone knows who to lobby to stop the traffic crossing the queue for the zebra crossing I'd like to know.

Afternoon. I have a barely used Charge Hob singles speed XXS that my daughter has grown out of. I think it's probably worth £180...
It's this model https://www.evanscycles.com/charge-hob-2011-women-s-hybrid-bike-EV138707
There a couple of chips from locking, but it's decent overall. Ben.
What's in that massive backpack Brailsford is always wearing at the finish?
