Don’t stop..
Separately: I’m actually a bowl inside sink person, as I like having somewhere to throw dirty utensils which isn’t directly in the water - I use one of these and it’s incredible.

We have cork click fix boards from https://www.colourflooring.co.uk/ in our kitchen. It’s lovely. Warm. Soft. Has held up fine to kitchen use thus far (about a year) without concerns. Because it’s cork it has a naturally irregular surface. I’m aware at some point it’s going to UV fade due to the kitchen aspect, but am so far very happy with it.

Noone:
User hangedup:Just this morning I was going to say that I haven’t seen a “no-one:”
meme for ages and I was loving it. I’m absolutely all for bad
spelling, grammar, whatever in memes but that one for some reason
drives me absolutely spare. Every single meme that starts with it
would make perfect sense without it, and be funnier. -

How much worktop space would you allow to the side of a hob?
We have a narrow side (although to open space not wall) and it's absolutely fine.
I'd always align upper and lower cupboards personally - we ended up with a 800,500,600 run with the same of wall cupboards. The 800 is 2x400 and are absolutely fine. 300 is fine for spices, boxed stuff (cereal/teas), tins that can stack.

@platypus Configurator crashed before I could figure out if there was change from 20 bags in shelves there…
I've got the pro without remote and the app is relatively good as proprietary hi-fi apps go remote-wise.
It can be set to autodetect source and switch to it - so depending on how much 'live' switching you need that might be enough.
