Hi, I'm about to have a set of 130mm travel forks avalible, there is a bit of stantion rub, but they will be priced to compensate. Still plush as they are coil roclshox recons with travel adjust.

Anyway Pm if they may work for you and we can talk numbers. I also have an Inbred frame in 18" i need ot shift so if you want more XC that could also be an option?

Sorry, just got back to the thread. Frame can go upto 160 so no issus there. I don't need that much travel, currently run 130 which is fine, and more than my skill level requires, but you know all the gear.......

I looking to upgrade my forks, thinking about pikes but open to suggestions of good second hand with 150-160 travel.

Anyone know of a frame builder in SE London who could change a head tube from 1/8th to 44mm to take tapered forks? would it be worth the hassle/cost effective?

I was bought a pair of the organic Hiut (cheaper ones £130) slim fit for christmas and really like them. I'm a pretty standard 34 waist 32 leg with turn up. I may try a pair of slimmer, or 32 waist as the fit is losser, more of a straight leg than expexted, but seem very well made. +1 from me.

I'm heading to the Langadoc region of france in September, I have found a few VTT centres, but seeing if anyone can recomned a place to ride.

even then, you can service a rockshox fork for the cost of parts and a couple of hours.

I'm heading down for about 12.30 1 ish. Not sure which hill to ride, will have to see how the legs feel!

Off to peaslake today for some rainy fun. Might go to Leith Hill to see how the extended summer lightning is.

No I think these will be a good option over the current 317, but asking opinions on these and other rims around that budget. It's the width I would like tio increase for the wider tyres I have.

Any sugetiojns for rims, I have been given a set of wheels with Hope pro 2 hubs, lased to Mavic ?317, think they are cross rims, with 17mm internal. I think the Mavic EN 521 could be a good option as I would like something a bit stronger and wider.

I'm about 95KG for ref.
