Hi Guys
So my frame has snapped near the rear dropout (see picture). I took it to mendabike down in Fulham and they had a go at welding it. They Tig welded it apparently.
It looked like they had done a reasonable job when I picked it up from the shop. I took it out for one ride and when got back inspected and the welding didn't hold at all, just how it was before.
I appreciate it's probably not easy to weld this but I paid £38 for the job and feel like I just through that money away. Would you guys go back to complain or just live with the fact that they tried and it didn't work?
Next question - Could this be repaired or am I better just taking it to a frame builder and getting the rear stays replaced? (it's a lugged Pinarello frame).
Thanks
Nic

Addison Lee are some of the worst drivers in London. Minicab drivers are pretty bad too in general. I think the problem is they don't know the roads like black cab drivers (don't get me wrong lots of them are cunts too) and they rely on satnav to get everywhere thus they have less awareness of what's going on in front and around them and are just following directions.. cunts.

Tel
Very tempting but would feel kinda bad splitting this up.
Will see how the sale goes. If no takers that might be Plan B.
