I'm after a set of Shimano integrated shifters/brake levers to upgrade from the sloppy 1990 Exage 300 that came on a bike I got recently.

Not fussed on which line/groupset/year but I'm looking for similar era (ish) and would prefer something less on the plastic-y. Definitely doesn't have to be posh - I have '94 Alivio on another bike which works great. Also kinda trying to keep this build cheap :)

If it helps, I got a thermal jersey and disco gilet from them last week.

It's really nicely made and the fabric looks and feels excellent. It's very comfortable. There's lots of nice little details in the design and so-on, and it generally seems well thought out.

I also think they're the best offer for expensive and boring as I'm not keen on PNS but if I have to be honest it doesn't perform any better than less expensive offerings (e.g. La Passione, who I also really like), but it is much nicer looking than most other stuff.

These look great, gutted to miss the first batch. Definitely keen for round 2 if it happens!

Picked this up a week or two ago since my old commuter has been promoted to full time gravel duty. A Basket, some tyres, and £5 handlebars later and I'm really happy with it.

I've a two-piece GT stem to fit but it needs stripping and repainting first, and I'm gonna see if I can persuade my old 650b mudguards to fit...
