Everyone I work with talks about "scheduling something out", when what they mean is make a list.
It's infuriating.
There is also a lot of talk of "closing something out" which as far as I can gather means "do something you have said you will do".
Word to Catfood - Those most guilty of linguistic bullshit are almost always those trying to hide the fact that they do very very little indeed.

The other local gvt newspeak I hear increasingly is prefixing a sentence with "now lets be clear about this..." then going on to say something utter worthless and deliberately vague.
There is a guy I work with who ends every sentence with "de facto".
He's a tit.
