It looks very similar in set up to the bike I did a six month trip on so on that basis I'd say yes.
Having said that if I did it again I'd get a bike with 26" wheels. It's a lot easier to get spares for 26" wheels outside Europe/US. I didn't actually break anything important but did worry about it and spent a lot of time looking for 700c tubes in Africa (I didn't find any and had to make do with fat 27" which just about worked).
If I were you I'd try and check out how easy it will be to get 700c spares in the countries you are travelling through.
Then I'd make double sure that the bike fits and is comfortable to tour on. It can be hard to tell this even from a long ride, so if you haven't already I'd do a few days continuous touring on the bike before you go. Mind you I didn't do that and was ok, I just bought a new stem when my hands went numb.

Also, my mate Andy runs Midsummer Energy http://www.midsummerenergy.co.uk/ who specialise in solar panels etc. He lives in a houseboat himself and will be happy to give you advice if you get in touch.

No longer available I'm afraid. Lack of interest here means I'm trying elsewhere.
~~I'm selling this BMX for my flatmate who desperately needs funds for a new bike / pair of forks.
I don't know much about it, or much about BMX's for that matter, but I think it is more aimed at kids than serious riding. It might make a good present?
It's barely been ridden (once or twice at most), but there is a little bit of surface rust here and there. There is a small dent on the top tube, the rear wheel which needs new rim tape and a new tube, and one of the pegs is missing. Other than that it is in as new condition.
I'm not sure how much to ask but apparently the same model has been for sale at £50 2nd hand. So £50? £40 or make me an offer.
Would need to be picked up from East Dulwich.
Any questions give me a shout.~~

Hey forum,
We have a double room going in our large flat in East Dulwich. The room isn't massive but there's room for a double bed and more, and there is extra storage space in a wardrobe on the landing. Rent is £335 per month.
We are looking for easy going, down to earth people between 27 – 40 yrs of age, who are mindful of sharing space and clean & tidy (not OCD, but respectful of common spaces!). Ideally we're looking for a female flatmate to give us a 50/50 male-female balance. It's a non-smoking house so a non-smoker definitely preferred.
Current flatmates are me (Sam), just escaped from academia and figuring out what to do next, Caroline, a recently graduated Occupational Therapist and part time DJ, and Callum working in Network Support, part time philosopher. We mostly do our own thing but socialise together sometimes.
The house is spacious with 3 floors, 4 bedrooms, a large lounge, separate kitchen, a large basement and a big sunny garden (which needs a bit of work - green fingers welcome).
We are close to Lordship Lane, an area with lovely shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and green spaces. There are good transport links; 10mins walk to East Dulwich or Peckham Rye Rail Station and then 10 mins journey to London Bridge or Victoria + regular buses to central & East London.More importantly there are decent bike routes into town, over Denmark Hill if you want the training or through Burgess park if you prefer a relaxed start to the day. And it's a very short ride to Herne Hill.
Bills (Water, Gas & Elec, Council Tax, TV licence, Sky & internet) generally come out at around £80 - £100 depending on time of year. We've been putting £100 a month into a shared account to cover this.
Deposit is £350 and one months rent upfront.Minimum 6 month contract, and the room is available from September the 23rd.
PM me if you're interested.
