£500 IS steep. No mention of the tubeset nor the parts branding or spec. Looks good and better photograhs than most Ebay sellers but slick imagery won't follow you home and sit your hall. I'd guess he's making a tidy sum on this.
However, Falcon seems to hold some regard for our U.S cousins so it may not be such a bad frame but I'd run a mile due to the price and the cloying hipster brogue inclusion.

There's more bikes some weeks back with the same blurb and names but a different number, looks like the same guy/guys. So I rang him (Tommy/Kyle whoever) and he comfirms he has the Pug but as I pushed him on tech details he said he was selling them for his brother and "he put the pictures on the internet coz I don't know anything 'bout them computers". Maybe there's no stolen or missing bikes here, or any bikes at all, who am I to say. But across all his ads he only uses stock photos or photos seemingly swiped from Google images.
Which is odd. I actually think the Peugeot looks very nice but would I consider going to have a look at it ? Think I'll pass........Unless of course it is Noca which makes me a prize dick.

^ Oh it gets weirder, he ripped the pic from here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread11067-14.html

8 (Eight!) bikes for sale on Gumtree right now only he seems uncertain of his name, I know, it's easy to forget. Either way, anyone lost a pretty looking Peugeot ?
http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/classic-red-peugeot-single-speed-bike-london-130/90540876And lo, if a google here and a google there doesn't reveal that the mobile number belonged to a guy called Shaun Chau. Perhaps he prefers the name tommy or Kyle. I like Shaun myself, a nice sturdy name.

Thanks for the suggestions but nothing really suitable, I don't want a built up bike as I'd only be stripping and selling bits off. So I'm still looking for a frame/forks to build up as a single speed with a 52-53 ctc seat tube and a 52-54 ctc top tube if anyone has anything that fits the bill............

Building a singlespeed for The Wife for her 40th. Frame and forks comes this week, oddly it's an Olmo and the only other Olmo I've seen in the flesh is ......mine. I'm certain curious and unplanned coincidences wil make great benefit her riding joy. Once she's broken the ubiquitous Brooks saddle in.

Belt buckle is kinda close. Basically thread count went downhill when chinese cotton (Racist) became common in branded t-shirt wear about 10 years ago. Nothing I own before then has the same problem. I cook all our meals at home and it's simply belt or jean button sandwiching t-shirt against work surface whilst I chop onions or summat. It literally only takes minutes of impact to rip through the shitty cotton.
Oh, it only happens if you have a 32" inseam. How did I fix it ? Lowered my kitchen floor and now only by crop tops. -

Ok, bent forks. No not the usual sort. Bought some decent cuttlery today and on every fork one of the outer tines (the pointy bits) sits slightly higher than the others. So I check the mixed up collection of forks I was chucking and they are ALL THE SAME. Get googling and can find no record of this being a critical aspect of a forks design. Waaa Gwaaan ?

Yeah it's Hilary's. It's just an earlier version of mine so I know they're decent Italian frames for the money, plus I'm just round the corner from Mario Vaz so stripping, de-rusting and a re-birth of my own choosing is easily done. Will measure her legs and arms tonight, then mine, then compere results. Now THAT is a night in.

Yes of course I know there are numerous factors in this but my wife (Who is 171cm to my 170, basically 5.7") looks a little lost on my Olmo fixed and feels it a tad big. It's 54cm with about a 55.5 tt.
She wants a single speed build so I naturally thought of a 53 but I've now got an option on a 52cm Olmo with a 54cm top tube. I like the idea of another Olmo primarily for it's internal cable routing and fairly unique tubing. So my question ladies, and fellas, am I going to go to small ? Are there any 5.7 females out there riding level top tube road bikes and what size are your frames ?I know I can work with seat posts and bars, likely going with some porteur style like the Velo Orange Milano but can't help thinking a 52 will leave her wanting. Ideas and thoughts please, abuse if you want to but do look at my name. I'm northern and therefore hewn from granite, creosote and fags, grrrr.
Cheers all !

Building a single speed road bike up for my brand new wife for her 40th. Always fond of unique and unusual as long as we've got fairly standard bottom brackets etc... Condition/paintwork not so important as I'm round the corner from Mario Vaz for a decent strip/re-spray.
Ideally a 53 but who knows. Whaddya got ?
