I've finally tracked down a suitable replacement rim for a wheel that was kicked in a while ago. I have the hub and the old spokes (one is snapped) I guess the others are pretty shit considering the verdict on the wheel was that it was too bent to be trued.
I don't have the correct tools or much time at the moment so I want to get someone to build it up for me. Before I go to my local bike shop I just wanted to check if anyone on here has got the knowledge and tools to do it for some cash. I searched and didn't come up with anything particularly useful.
If anyone fancies it let me know it would be totally wicked and much appreciated!!! I'm based in SE London so local would be ideal but I don't mind traveling.

Some prick kicked my rear wheel in, took it to BLB and they said it's too bent to get trued, which sucks.
So I'm looking for a good quality rear wheel. I had the typical BLB Ambrosio Evolution rims and hub combo, which I really like as they're pretty strong (other than when pissed douches kick them in!) so if possible I'd like to re-buy that or something close to it.
Not to sound annoyingly picky but I'm not after deep v's. I've got the tyre, tube and sprocket so just after the wheel. If possible I'd like a silver wheel to match the front one innit.
So if anyone has anything knocking around just let me know and I'll gladly take it off your hands!!
Cheers!!

I had a search for this question and couldn't find an answer so I am posting it...
I'm helping my girlfriend out as she had her back wheel stolen. A friend of mine has a 27x1 1/4 wheel knocking about which she can have. However her original wheel and current front wheel are 700c. Would it be a problem to mix and match a 27 x 1 1/4 rear wheel with a 700c front wheel?
As far as I can tell the answer is no as it seems like there is only an 8mm difference between the two. But I just want to check before I cycle around to get it and then fit a new freewheel, tyre, blah blah!!
So if you can answer that question it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Here's a bunch of stuff I've got to sell:
**Viscount- Kp Crisps Frame with very new chrome forks- £35 ono
**Dimensions- seat tube: 54cm c-c, top tube: 56cm c-c
Copy of Viscount Team Britain original frame with pretty cool retro KP crisps logo. The frame is not in particularly good condition- paint chips, rust spots, etc... I've had it checked out and it's structurally fine though. I bought it when my old frame broke and I needed a frame asap. Not the best to look super cool on, but perfect if you're doing a low cost build or looking for a beater. The only problem is the seat post bolt holes are very worn, however this is easily remedied by just putting in a washer in place. The old forks were rubbish so I put these chrome forks on- they're in really good condition.
Atax 90mm Stem- £10 ono
**Dia Compe lang reach brake calipers- £10 ono
**If you want any extra pics let me know and I'll send them.
I'm based in Peckham but work around Shoreditch so can meet if you like. Posting is possible but I'll need to check extra costs.Cheers,
Robin.
