Man.. It's been discussed before, but why those wheels (or any high profile rims, you said you were looking for those) on that frame..? You attemped to go all "classic" with that bar end lever, then only to throw weird wheels at it..
Get some low profile ones.. They look better.. Easy obtainable here in NL (we fellow countrymen).. I may be of assistance and swap you some (plus cash) with those Zonda's for my '94 Gazelle Exception with Chorus which now sports Chorus to Mavic cxp30's.. Dealio? ;)

I also expect to get the "let him build the bike the way he wants"-comments, so fire away..

Woutchi.. A common grasstrack trick was to use a ball bearing between dropout and axle to create more dlearance.. Don't know if that will work with quickrelease though.. Should if the axle's long enough..

George Sportif, I think the Diamant needs an aero seatpost, not a fluted one, seeing it is ergopower era kitted.. But hell, I (might be) biased, since that seatpost would be exactly what I'm looking for.. What groupset is on it? Mirage?

Hilly Ben, I considered those, since they're pretty common available in 26.8 and pretty nice in the flesh.. Thing is, I don't even have the frame yet, so the time to look for what I exactly want.. I have other 26.8 seatposts, and one even comes with the frame, so I'll be able to ride anyway..

Indeed, but aren't the seattube stickers on the wrong way around? (not facing forwards but backwards) Can't find a pic of one from the nondriveside, but it just doesn't look right..

Hmm, looking back at the pictures, it's at negative degree.. But you can get a stems with a higher degree of "drop".. Get a black one while you're at it.. ;)
