I also fancy the EA90s from an aesthetical perspective, but the chainring combos are very expensive and you get the same problem with the Middleburns that the axle is bonded to the crank arm and iirc they're quite short. So no good with a bsa30 setup.

As previously said, it's quite weird they offer separate axles for Middleburns though if they are factory bonded.

Those Middleburns are indeed very pretty. I'ld bite your hand off for them if I was on the isles and actually had a biek to put them on.

But on the subject of pretty 46/30 chainsets I now have a project in the works with a deanodised Cannondale si crankset and opi spider.
Getting it to work with a bsa30 BB and finding out the right axle length (125mm, trust me) was a bit of a faff but worth it.

I have one of those OEM rotor 46/30 jobbies that came on grzls during the great COVID part shortage of which many are flogged on kleinanzeigen because they now want full grx (shudder, crankset is ugly as sin).
I like the utilitarian aesthetic of the spider. That faux aero spider on aldhus with a 46/30 chainrings is a misplaced look imo.

..And the dedicated Vans bicycle footwear remains quite endearing. I mean Lycra and Vans, what's not to like?!

U mad bro?! Middleburns are one of the prettiest cranksets out there, they're perfect for the build! And that 30 quid axle up there will solve your chainline problems right away!

Aesthetically (trust me I am an architect),
I personally go for garbaruk and alugear 3 bolt chainrings.
Much more elegant, come in any colour, teethage (as in, nw-compatible) and offset one wants.
The garbaruk (not actually UK, but UKrainian) has elevated teeth levels that are nw +++ so to speak.

Mind you I am continental, so may have more refined tastes then you island lot..;)

I don't know what they changed in the newest powder formula but the previous biggest drawback of gag inducing flatulence has completely disappeared.
A bit miffed they got rid of the flavour powders though because it gave you the opportunity to cater flavour to taste. And the flavoured powders are way to strong. Now on 2 scoops of the normal, half of the flavoured one to get an acceptable result.
Also on the hot and savoury stuff. Same thing, way too strong a taste. Resorted to one scoop stuff, one scoop of pre cooked brown rice with broth to cater to my tastes (and wallet).
Tl;dr CSB, which I do feel a bit like a gym bro lugging that drinking bottle around. Which they also improved btw.

I dunno about UK but at "my" construction site there is a company that only does "Kernbohrungen", large diameter drillings. Probably not cheap to only to get them to do a single hole though... Otherwise some tool rental company could have the goods? You have boels in the UK?
