I don't think it's a Gazelle.. Framenumber thing doesn't add up.. It should've been stamped with Gazelle to be a Gazelle.. Also, although fork crowns look/are identical, clearance is not.. Put a wheel in it, you'll see.. I believe in th OG FS thread there was a picture with wheels.. That was one of the things that put me off from buying it when it came for sale again, besides having already bought another frame.. ;)
Also, wrapover stays should wrapover totally for a Gazelle, like in touching each other in the middle.. Also, Gazelle lugs are cutout, from pic 1, that's not the case..I believe someone mentioned what the forks were in the FS thread.. Too lazy to look it up.. Maybe that's a connection to look further..? I'm convinced it's not a Gazelle.. (I own 2 from that era, no track though..)
My 2p. keep as is, slap on nice components (with restecp to frame.. fluted cranks, box rims, etc), have a-awesome rat!

^Thanks Peter, but Ferdi oldcampy has sorted me with a very nice 3ttt one..
Looks like this, I now see that's DC's photostream, so what a small world.. Not an SL though, but the pattern is the same.. Form is like an Unicanitor.. I immediatly fell for it, really suits the non usual suspects approach I'm having with this project..You wouldn't happen to have a seatpost would you? ;)

Cheers, but I'm not actually looking for a wheelset from here.. Postage would add 25 pounds, so not worth my while.. Maybe I've should've put the "advice bit" in Current Projects, but hey, I hoped this would work too..
Also, geared things tend to go cheaper here on this side of the stream.. Hubs are no biggie posted, but wheelsets, as earlier stated, 'll be to dire with postage..
I've also found:
Fulcrum 5's (used, 70 euro's)
Mavic Aksium (used, 50/60ish)How would those compare?
I might just PM the tester, right..?

Hi,
I've just made the leap from 8 speed to 10 speed Campagnolo, but, since they changed spline design between 8 and 9/10/11speed.. I either need a need a new hub/rear wheel/wheelset..
Regarding the hub: 24h/28/32h would all work.. I have rims to suit all spokage..
Otherwise, I'd like suggestions for a nice silver/alu wheelset that is Campagnolo 10sp compatible.. I've found a Ursus Countach wheelset on our local gumtree marktplaats but no clue whatsoever on quality..
Any suggestions, kind folk?
Thank you very much,
Ruud

Dicki, I have a '94 Exception.. It's Reynolds 731OS with Noblex stainless steel forks and rear stays..
That's an old marktplaatspicture of off when I got it in March this year.. Changed the 8-speed DA to 8 speed Chorus.. Now in the proces of finding something suitable Campagnolo 10-speed to pick up cheaper during winter.. -
