Absolute result. Just had a call from the policeman on duty that found me on Friday night. Apparently when he found me I told him in my concussed haze that I had had my bike stolen, he has the initiative to go through my mobile phone to find a picture of my bike and send it to himself, then finds my bike (being ridden by a scalywag) and locks it up outside the hospital I was sent to. He wasn't on duty till today. So my bike had been locked up outside the hospital the whole time, and the person who he found with the bike has been arrested!

Unbelievably chuffed, and impressed with both the police and the general public. I can't believe a titanium swift, Delta brakes, and the carradice bag didn't get pinched.

the frame is the v2 'short' model. i bought it new from tokyo fixed less than a year ago.

included is a v1 fork, headset, bb, seatpost, seatclamp, and can throw in a saddle if needed.

pictures will be put up as soon as it gets back from the painters....

newcastle is officially hosting its first ever tournament (to replace the grass polo tourney that edinburgh was going to put on...)

we have a nice shiny new court, so we thought we'd have a go!

this thread is mainly for our benefit so we can confirm teams to help with format.

i know theres a bunch coming from both edinburgh and glasgow, but if any other cities fancy joining in, you're more than welcome!

mirtazapine, its the only thing that has helped me sleep in 4 years of treatment! one of my friends was put on this for the same reason about 2 years ago, apparently he put on 3 stone :S

my kitchen exploded when i tried to light the hob. all my exposed skin set on fire (face, arms). i had to run from the room, drop and roll, beat the fire off myself, put out the fire in the kitchen with an extinguisher, then call an ambulance and stand in the shower til they got there.
i lost all the skin on my face and arms, and was in hospital for 3 weeks. checked myself out once i could wash myself and manage pain effectively.

weight loss is going better now, im running at least 5k every time im at the gym, rowing at least 4000m, plus weights.
obviously still commuting, loving the change to clipless.
im also taking whey protein to minimise recovery time which is working surprisingly well. also taking kre-alkalyn, which im still not entirely sure about to be honest, i used to take it when i was climbing 5 times a week, anyone else got any input on it?

trying fat burning supplements for the next month, which i know a lot of people disagree with, but i want to see if they really make the difference.

is that the guy that does a bike check and goes through the stickers he's put on his frame?
