*crop mode *- basically crops the centre 640 x 480 section out of the full 18MP sensor, giving you a freaking amazing x7 zoom (not a crappy digital zoom) - so your 300mm lens becomes a 2100mm but with zero light loss like you would get using teleconverters and the like - it's amazing, my 200 f/2.8 becomes a 1400mm still at f/2.8 and a 50mm f/1.2 becomes a 350mm still at f/1.2 - etc etc

Great for stalking and looking in neighbour's windows.

The high speed 50/60fps frame rates are great for slow motion stuff when slowed back down to PAL or film speeds.

I don't know. I'm a driver but I'm yet to have such a retarded idea as almost killing a cyclist to teach them a lesson. I have no idea what this lesson may be. Probably the get out of way lesson.

I'm a driver and I always give cyclists plenty of room, probably because I know how much I fucking hate it when I can feel a car going past me.

I really don't know what some motorists have against cyclists I experience it day in day out, when you cycle through one of these:

And motorists get right up your ass (not exaggerating there) and they can't wait to get around you, can you seriously not leave 5-10 minutes earlier in the morning so your not so fucking angry when you drive?

Completely agree. My road rides consist of narrow roads, no pavements and blind bends. Pretty much every other ride I will get grief from a driver who doesn't realise that I am in the middle of the road because I can hear cars coming in the other direction into a blind bend. They are put out because they can't overtake going into said blind bend and even after the bend (when you would think they would be thankful for me helping them to avoid hitting an oncoming car) they shout, sound horn etc,.
With that sort of disregard they should not be allowed to drive at all.

Completely agree with this as well. The amount of times I've had motorists come round a bend behind me only to slam the brakes on because I'm cycling in the road. As far as I'm aware being a driver you should have your eyes on the road the whole time and be ready to stop at any time. They then usually over take when It's really not safe and give me grief for it as if I've done something wrong.

Always amazes me how if you kill someone in a car you can get 'pretty much' away with it.

Wasn't there a story a few weeks ago about the women who was pregnant, ran a man off the road and didn't stop but still got away with it.

The law really needs fucking changing. I hate to think what I'd do if that poor cyclist was a relation of mine.

Hopefully we will be able to install apps to the SD card out of the box before long.
