Dredging up floor chat again. I ended up removing all the carpet and the floor isn't too bad, I need to replace a few boards but I kind of expected that.

Does anyone recommend filling, or using something else to fill the gaps between floorboards? I wasn't thinking filler but more something of those 'V' shaped strips that fill the gap.

Also im impressed you can keep any earphones on for 5 hours!

The other thing to bear in mind is the call quality and by all accounts the pixel buds have that in spades over the galaxy buds. That's only 5 hours then pop back in the case as the case produces another x amount of hours.

I think mines a little more awkward as the window/ door is part of that alcove too, but I'm determined to make this work as I love the light that comes in there.

Bit of an odd one this but here goes.

What, realistically is the smallest size I could expect to work at a desk? Reason being my new house has a nice little alcove near a set of french doors that lead outside (so I'd still need access to those) that I would love to make into a little desk.

The alcove is 1m wide and around 50cm deep. I'd imagine I will have to come out a little further than the alcove in order to facilitate a monitor + keyboard (although I could mount the former on the wall...

The added issue is the fact that I need access to the doors outside to the garden.

I have had 3 Coopers (not S) and personally I always prefer them with a sunroof as it makes the inside lighter and more spacious in a small car. Also the chrome mirrors are nasty (but easy enough to change).

Yeah the wing mirrors are a minor point right now, more interested in the mileage.
