think campagnolo had to change the daytona name to centaur - it (i think) was the middle of the groupset

paddy - if like me you have an 8 speed cassette, you can re-space it with 9 speed spacers and then use 9 speed ergo's - presume you are talking campag! very, very slightly out but it does work well enough

put ergo's on my holdsworth recently....9 speed mirage as i sold my indexed d/t levers for not much less....the cassette is 8 speed, but with 9 speed spacers fitted and running a 9 speed rear mech. shifts quite well.
mirage ergo's from dRibble for just under 70 with cables
with campag 8 speed is compatible with er 8 speed, 9 and 10 and 11 i think are compatible.

postage is about £3...not sure - the rear mech came off my road bike 2 months ago and the rear mech has sat around unused too.

got a suntour short cage cyclone...if that's any good.
will post a picture later tonight if that's ok.
also have a front suntour ARX front too.

think that there is 2 for 8 speed, depending on the size of the smallest sprocket?
and either 26 or 27mm..could be wrong though
