Wow, i had no idea my comment was so offensive.
Obviously people who are seriously interested should know what size bike they need, just seemed a bit off in the OP sizing guidelines to me.
My ill fitting bike is the exact reason why i posted, because I bought it (partly) due to being told (by an experienced seller) that a 57 would be good for me at 6 foot. I dont regret it, but i know what size to buy now.
I guess i just have short legs.

i always assumed that side pull brakes should be slightly loose at the fixing bolt to allow for centering its self when you pull the brake.

All of those things could be rectified in 10 mins! The downtube clearance is silly for road use.
