Finally managed to buy a car!
The used car market is absolutely awful at the minute. Slightly niche requirements as it's my partners first car which she's using to practice in before her test but also needs to be our long journeys/holidays car (with me driving) so needed to be nice enough without being so nice it would be upsetting if it gets some L-plate battle scars!
So many high mileage dogs out there going for seriously strong money!Ended up with this Pug 207 estate. So ugly it's almost gone full circle to good looking, in care home favorite metallic beige...

It's just the same risk as contactless cards though isn't it. You lose your phone or wallet someone can go on a sub-£100 (assuming the shops have updated their machines) spending spree until you or the bank stop them.
Phone unlock to do transactions up to your normal account limit is then similar to putting your PIN in for card transactions.

The carving knife from that Opinel range looks nice for @superjoe

Lol - done plenty of that this weekend, more fun and games to come tomorrow!
Thanks @cmburns - it's just a generic background so maybe I'll change it. Or try to dig into this material you thing!

Ok PS5's are quite good!
Even playing Warzone (a PS4 game); image quality, smoothness, stuff actually rendering in before you pancake onto it - so good.Just played a bit of Astros playground - the triggers are cool. I don't think they'll get a lot of action in competitive multiplayer games but they're fun for playing against the computer.

Good on them, does seem weird to me. Maybe if people buy new phones every year or two it's fine because they've got recent wall plugs, but for people upgrading from on old phone it means they can't do fast charging without spending more money. I've got a few other USB plugs around I can try to see if any of them are good enough, then I'll probably end up buying another one.

Hopefully it won't be too bad! 207's are still small cars & at least in estate form, the rear window is vertical with nothing sticking out any further than it so it should be easy telling where the end of the car is (ie no sloped back or saloon style boot sticking out to make things difficult). We'll see though!
