Nobody, that's actually a lot cheaper than I was expecting, a few of us have student cards... Sounds feasable, but really ithink a lot of people would like to treat that as a last resort. It would stop us from drinking and smoking courtside wouldn't it? Something which for a few of us at least is the only reason we play!? :)

To be honest it didn't seem like there would be much of an issue with drinking and smoking, its just a hut with some courts so if people were good about clearing up i doubt they would care but yeah defiantly a last resort.

council page seems very receptive so im going to swing by there when i go out tonight to check if it does indeed have lights and report back.

Checked it out and not flood lit. However there is a place just down the road that has floodlit tennis/five a side courts. Asked someone there and she said she didn't have a problem with bike on the courts but would have to double check. Its open till 10 but you have to pay. £4 an hour 3 if you have a student card. Any thoughts? Ill be getting a call in the next day or two so if there's enough people to make paying worth it (the biggest issue) we should try it out.

Will there be any west polo tomorrow? im dying to try out my new mallet and bike after my first taste of polo two weeks ago.

There's some works going on at the angel by the station if anyone is up for a daring midnight raid. There is a few bits of new stuff lying on its own but for anyone who doesn't want to piss of the guys working there im sure they wouldnt care if you took away the old shit thats also lying about there.

i thought so too but it looks ok on the end of the golf club i've just cut up.
jewsons had some 64mm stuff but then it turned out to be pvc .

Just got 3m of 50mm ABS pipe for mallet heads. If anyone wants some let me know, i'll chop it up and bring it down next time i play.

Thanks a lot for everyone introducing me to the game yesterday, especially for lending your bikes to me so i didn't have to risk damaging my road bike. Will defiantly be down again next week, hopefully with a bike of my own and a mallet.

I'd like to pop along tomorrow, is there any chance i could borrow a mallet off someone to try out bike polo as i don't have a stick yet?
