As for the coaster brake thing, I've got one on my rattly beater but I wouldn't do without a front brake too. That said, it's definitely a machine with personality. Those bars are ace.

Locking up outside a station is a bad idea all round I reckon.
Outside a pub, cafe or busy office and the (more opportunistic) thief might be worried that the owner was watching or could be out at any minute. Outside a station or cinema and it's almost like a guarantee that the owner won't be around for the next few hours.
That's my understanding anyway. If anyone thinks I'm off the mark I'm very happy to stand corrected. -

A bit off topic but...
...for those attending hat parties may I recommend a technique taught to me by a close friend:
1) Find a Lego hat
2) Glue hairpin to Lego hat
3) Wear Lego hat
Works especially well if you have massive hair like me which tends to eat things. Then people will go "where's your hat" and you make them stare deep into the barnet.
