Wow Hugo! Thanks for the detailed advice.
And I have been actively scouring through the listings on Ebay but I have little idea of what prices are decent, I shall however keep an eye on the ebay listings thread.Yeah I need a 21'' but I have found I usually prefer a 19''.
And I don't know, flat handlebars have always been a preference for me for some reason.
So thanks again, I shall take this advice to heart.

So, found a bike I liked yesterday, went out to meet the guy today. Rode around on it, seemed cool and I was quite glad to fit on it ( as oddly enough most bikes feel a bit weird for my 1meter 94.
I come back from riding around the block and he says he just sold it to his mate.
Obviously I was surprised but he said the guy just called him and it was his mate so he couldn't say no.Told him I was here first and bla-bla-bla. He obviously did not listen, so I told him to fuck off and I went home.
So yeah, I shall continue to look for a single speed bike for around the £200 mark.

Ah well, I'll keep looking. Thanks for the advice George.

You seem to be worrying too much about this. I am a student, and I just got the basics: Got a stir fry pan, some other basics for the kitchen and stuff. Just don't blow your money on retarded shit like takeaways and expensive bars. I was lucky I saved up enough money and parental support to live fairly well for a year before getting a job.
Saying that, now I have a job I am less of a social retard. (less)
