I've used these rims on a Road Bike with no issues. Obviously not being machined they need a bit of bedding in, preferably before using in wet conditions. Lovely rims...and Yes, cheap as!!

ridden it about 4 times tbh, that build didn't get finished until more recently and i prefer riding a steel front wheel. Sad to say it's done well under 100 miles :( which is why it needs a better home. .
That said, i would take £100 for just the wheel. If you're interested, Pm me to sort out the finers, Im in Cornwall until the week of the 4th so it might need posting if your keen.

I have spoken with Darren, or Daz (highlandpro) before regarding a sale that didnt work out. I'd say he is a very lazy Trader, which is frustrating, and he can be off with his idea of "mint" (some bloody images would really go a long way here)
Steelisreal, or Roland Clark I have no dealings with (knowingly) but got the impression he was related (cousin) to HLP. I'm sure I remember reading something on Veloriders regarding this.
Of course, I realise that it is easy to deceive and manipulate people over the internet, setting up numerous accounts, different names is very basic thing to do if you want to fuck people about.
Anyways, just thought I'd put my actual experience dealing with Highlandpro, who at best is a lazy seller, but perhaps worse, that's for someone else to confirm.

like you say, it's only a Bike, but the Brooklyn seemed to be a very personal thing to you, as all of our bikes are to us I guess, but a damn shame none the less.

If the Buyer didn't take the custom bags (fool if not) i'll offer you a wedge of crisp notes for the set.

I agree. Early days for me, but I recently turned my old 26 MTB into a Singular Peregrine 29'er and was surprised how quickly it rolled. Just took it on a jaunt to Snowdonia National Park and had a great time, such good fun.
