I think those double-minis are always bad news. I remember when I was first learning to drive in sleepy Bristol the test route took one in on Southmead Road. It used to shit me up every time.
...
Ah, here it is: YouTube- Double mini-roundabout in Bristol - twice
There's an OK chip shop there, in case you're tempted to get off and walk. The Cod Almighty, I think.Who took this video and why? It seemed a bit weird at the beginning and then we get the same journey from the other direction.

I think most of us feel the cyclist was not in the wrong, but it the accident could have been avoided, a more experienced cyclist would have seen the potential problem and taken evasive action, like:- slowing down, swerving, shouting or ringing a bell. (excuse the dogs cock)
The perfect answer would be a REALLY LOUD bell. Does anyone make such a thing? If so, I think I might go and get one.

Clearly (IMHO) the driver was day-dreaming. This happened to one of my sons 3 or 4 years ago. It was completely the drivers fault, but a more experienced cyclist would have seen the potential danger before it happened and been on the alert. Guess there's no substitute for experience.
I have, on several occasions nearly come a croppa at junctions where I couldn't make eye contact because of deep tinted windows. I can't understand why tinted windows on the front of a car should be legal.

Okay, so back in December (I think) I bought a frame from a forum member. It was an old (50s or early 60s) frame that I was going to strip down, remove added braze-ons, get resprayed and new decals etc. I've already spent some time removing the disc-brake fittings etc, bought the decals and bought a seat-pin, handlebars & stem. I only realised a few weeks ago that there is no trace of a serial number on the BB case - indeed when I removed the rust, it looked a bit like it may have been ground off.
Should I go ahead and get it sprayed, knowing it may well have been stolen at some point, or just put it down to experience?

I have already put my name down on the poll, but I thought seeing as others are doing the usual listy thing, I'll do my usual followy-sheepy thing.

The pleasure was all mine, Miss Kitty! The pleasure of the Run itself was only bested by the quality of the company.
Here's a fun link I just found:
YouTube- Cycling in style | Video of the day
Hey, fame at last! That's me on the still at the beginning
Best of luck when you have your "day in court". I just hope it's all worth it. I remember a few years ago waiting about 3 hours for the lads accused of breaking my shop windows to turn up at court. Eventually the court clerk came over and advised me to go because if they hadn't turned up by now they probably never will and they will probably get off scott-free. Mind you, that's the kind of crap that goes on at magistrates' court, hopefully things are taken bit more seriously in a 'proper court'.
