do i feel like a twat..
So I bought myself a fagh mini due to it being indestructible.
And it dont fit :/
-Ive got deep Dodici rims (powdercoated white obv.) and i just cant get my frame + a wheel locked to a freaking pole..
-cant lock any standard commuter bike
-obv cant lock my mountain bike
:(so word of advice to yall (though im sure anybody else would check this before buyin anything...) : meassure the distance to cover between the inside of your rim and the inside of your frame..
PS: anyone near Antwerp, Belgium looking for a fagh to buy?? Ill delliver at your home.. :)

And the prize for BEST SECURED BIKE goes to a tie!!!
The winners are Steff (post 52) and to Japeseye.Respect due. ;)
But even though the Fagh Mini is the top rated lock, for me its for locking one wheel to the frame. More useful is a longer/wider 18mm lock, so that the wheel AND frame can be secured to an immovable object.
if you just lock your rear wheel within the rear triangle of your frame it ll do because the wheel cannot be pulled through it without removing the lock..
or is this wrong? - Sheldon Brown method, SB knows best, rite? -
hi,
im planning on buying these two:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kryptonite-Kryptoflex-Cable-Lock-9-3/dp/B000LF86IC/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=ITKBLUPJ4O6WP&colid=19S38KKYCHIFI
&
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000OZ9VLU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p200_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1K64GVVXQJGGVAM3EDDC&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294The idea is to have the mini for quick stops, locking my rear wheel and frame to a pole. (wheels are bolted)
Then i have the cable to lock my front wheel as well for longer periods. Is this a good idea - general lock setup-wise?
Better alternatives? - im going for the yellow krypto as having the 'best lock out there' reputation and going for the mini + cable as I think anything stronger will weigh an awfull lot on my back(pack)..
Pricing on both seem reasonable as well..suggestions are welcome

Alas I was to late.Did someone here get it?
(Though a stupid question to ask since it was on sale in Antwerp, Belgium - www.afgss.com doesnt exist so..) -

lol
through the link/advertising after rereading my own thread -
hi
looking for a stem that ll fit a 22.2 bar.
-Preferably a standard 'track-bike' stem not a BMX one.
-I'd like the angle to be flat, as in not steep down (it s for my riser bar).
-not coloured (black is ok though)Crappy description but hey.. most important is the threaded and 22.2 part
Basically i had a nice black cinelli stem come with my bike but i had to take the hipster route and resplace the cinelli drop bar with a BMX riser bar which is to small/thin for my stem. So i got a 3$ stem on ebay that does the job but looks horrible so I'm trying again here.
2nd hand is ok, but any directions to an online shop that sells anything alike is fine as well. Havent found anything so far..

got mine today, shipped to germany. bag is really nice, sure it is quite big, but therefore it will handle a lot of stuff. will report more the coming days.
Last note on the VAGX topic;
bought a bl&w roll top from aaspden and
-the bag is really nice (really big indd, but what do you expect from a rolltop rite?)
-the fellow selling them is even nicer, great communication, package well wrapped, fast delivery, ...go check his blog out yo!

I would buy from him. I don't know him, but he's been honest in everything so far?
That's good enough for me.
Nice bags, and a good enterprise.
exacly my feeling as well, but 120£ is worth double checking this..
So far, judging from the e-mails i got from him, he seems legit, not dodgy at all.I'm giving it one more day, if I havent found anything that points him out as dodgy I'm ordering me a rolltop.. Wish me luck :)
As to answering to the SAG vs VAG dispute:
yes theyre obv likewise designs but I cant seem to find anyhting wrong with the vag ones. They dont look like cheap rip offs with the only intention of trying to look like a sag bag, they re just good bags, similar to an other brand but good enough on their own. Plus I can get my hands on one fairly easy (as opposed to säg) and fairly cheap (again as opposed to säg). -
yeah i know, but design wise ive made up my mind.
they do look the same (and thus look pretty cool) as a sag bag, look equally firm or better - and i dont mind the word VAGX :)
but they are cheaper so..just wanted to know if someone allready bought from this guy - a londoner who bought a big stock to resell them over here. Which is ok, cause their website is in korean + shiping costs are cut and so fourth..
-
vag post:
Has anyone bought from this blog? Or does anyone know the guy? - his username on here is aaspden
http://vot-zdyes.blogspot.com/
I want to buy a rolltop and I say it all looks really reliable and nothing fishy about it, but I dont want to be an idiot who didnt double check it and ended up wiring some paypall money to a guy in nigeria :)srsly no offence meant to aaspden who created it..! Just want some verification..

Nice bike! the one thing i would change is the stem.... a standerd old style quill stem would look good, thats just my opinion, otherwise very nice.
the stem, right...
I bought the bike with a cinelli stem on it, but I wanted a riser bar, and even with shimmers the cinelli was still to whide..
Struggling with beercans to shim it and what not, i went for the quick solution - €5 stem on ebay..So it's on the list as to replace but since it works it's been pushed back a bit.. :/ next stop remain straps and i hope jol sorts em out really fast (35th or something on the list :/)
but thx for the big ups yall..

Hi,
Selling a brand new mini fagh because, sturdy as it is, it is a wee bit to small for my rim-frame-pole combination :(
brand new = used once, still got wrapping, warranty papers, 3 keys.
I havent checked how much shipping would cost but I'm asking for 53£ or 65€ excl. shipping.
This thread is mostly for some rare Belgian that would benefit from this offer.
(I'm from Antwerp, anything within a 20 minute drive one-way, ill drop it off, no charge)
