Lovely ride yesterday - shame I had to split - nice brisk trip into the wind but we still couldn't catch the carbon peloton!

Family 5000 were pleased to see that you all exist and are not a figment of my imagination.

Oscar (3 3/4 years) was really impressed and wants to come on the next ride.

I ordered a pair of Vredestein Fortezza tyres 6 weeks ago. They have my money.
I called them a fortnight ago and was told that they were waiting for a delivery from the distributor.
I believed them at the time - am a bit concerned now.

Will bring a big lock and my pub bike. My mate had his mountain bike stripped for parts in 20 mins flat last time we went there (albeit it was before the smoking ban).

Andy - the socks were pants (if that makes sense) - only white and £5 a pair.

I bought some very nice legwarmers (go up to mid thigh and have zips at the bottom) which having tried them on are too long and too narrow (or my legs are too short and wide) - would probably fit you if you are interested I paid £15.
