It is REMARKABLY slippy out there - I think the London councils have coated the streets with Teflon based salt this year - some interesting cornering lines on the motorbike this morning.

Has totally anaesthetised and sealed my battered and grazed knee. Winter tights and Jacket seem to have absorbed a lot of the impact - will have aches and pains for a bit but nothing too bad.
The Cross bike has a couple of battle scars now - but they could have been a lot worse.

Watch out kids - roads are super greasy tonight.

I've just gone down like Bambi on ice - 2 scratched brake levers, bloody knee, sore hip and shoulder - could have been a lot worse.

I think it's the damp and residual salt (and probably the Monday Diesel - although I didn't see any rainbowing).

Broken Clutch lever.

Not ideal.

Wonder if the jumble will have any motorcycle bits?

New clutch lever FITTED for £10.

Makes you realise cyclists are being royally screwed.

Try getting a new brake/ gear lever supplied & fitted while you wait for similar £!

Visibility's the issue - I had to sqint to see through the snow blowing in my face and the pesky motorists decided not to bother clearing their windows, looking out of their windows or moderating their speed to cope with the grip conditions - hope they all crash into lamposts.

The weather's fine - but if all that slush freezes later we're going to be royally screwed.

Endura overshoes worked ok for 25 mins then leaked badly - wet socks not nice.

My tweed plus 4s started collecting snow in the crotch - no radiators at work.

I wonder if the Flask will do a cheese fondue?
