Erin: Shamals are nice. There is a reason they are propular, and why the were used on so many pro riders bikes in the 90s. They feel very fast, and are very nicely built.

Hi All-

Haven't posted in a while - I've since moved from Brooklyn (NYC) to Canterbury, so I'm actually in England now (hopefully London next fall). Anyway, made a few changes to my bike - I'm one of maybe 3 people who ride a single speed in Canterbury, and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who rides fixed. The brilliant cycle kids at Kent Uni (where I'm doing postgrad work) suggested I put gears on my bike to ride with them...
