although a few people showed interest, the front wheel is still available.

the wheel would suit any fixedgear set-up without looking "odd"

i am after a orange velocity 700c (machined) rim or a compete front wheel
i have a NEW white (non-machined) velocity front wheel and might consider trading if you have a compete front wheel in the colour i am after (orange) and in reasonable condition
if no-one interested then will just have to bay my white front wheel and then hunt an orange front wheel down (somehow)
i based in bristol ( and am in london once a month) so arranging a pick-up/trade should be no probs
picture please & prices

@ sasmon
fair point- starting with a vertical drops could be unnecessary hassle, keeping in mind i am relatively new to ss.
@buddha fingaz
What gave me away?
Nope, not a dad- too young @21@coppithat
i am not doing it for show, function follows form.
I just want something reliable that does not look ramshackle, when i refer to ‘liking the look of the bike’ i am talking about the condition its in aswell as its visual appealIf i cant find a frame by this/next week i would consider putting up an ad
fair point- starting with a virtical drops could be to

after hearing about the amount of bikes being stolen has resulted in only leaving my bike in public when i have to ( pop to the shops or something) and never leaving it out overnight.
What even more worrying is how many cyclist are being attacked, its good to have your d-lock in hands reach wile riding. In times like these we need someone with unconventional techniques to fight back like v for vendetta but instead of running everywhere he got a bike, and instead of a mask he could have his helmet over his face and his main weapon is flying cogs and he keeps hooligans wrapped up with inner-tubes until the police ‘catch-up’.... you get the picture

i am currently after a frame to be my pride and joy however finding it is proving a bit of a mission.
i like the look of skinny vintage bikes however i found this bike on the bay- which i kind of like
anyone got one of these? what your option on them?
And are they good value at 150£i think they have vertical drops so don’t think they easily convert to single speed ( which is untimely want i want to end up with)
The frame is made from double butted 7075 aluminium with headset and carbon forks
i do like the frame and think it could be converted into something rather ‘hip’ ( don’t know what other word to use there!)
all comments welcome
thanks -
