In the case of Josh for example, he did not order the 14 polo bike.
Josh ordered what he thought would make a better polo bike than the 14polo bike. He didnt like it and now he has a replacement which is made from the spec sheet and is the same geo as Luca, emmet, dt, me and he likes it ... go figure.Don't think this is a very accurate statement, yes I came to 14 because I wanted a polo bike with a few alterations from the one that I had seen Brendan riding (currently emmets bike) but I the things that I wanted to change, wider clearance in the rear and a disc mount were the things that were wrong, so it really has very little to do with the geo. I really loved my old polo bike and wanted it to work out, but the stuff that I specifed was wrong and that is why I got a replacement. I would have been happy with the bike if it had worked out.
I like the new one, but is not really want I wanted, but was the easiest comperimise in the situation I was in and worked out the best for both me and John.I don't think anyone is slagging off 14, I think they make great bikes when they are right, it is just unfortunate that a couple have not been the way that the customer wanted. I would defiantly still and do recommend there bikes polo or other.

I was just thinking about your situation jimmy the last couple days. I understand your frustration with the whole issue and know how disapointting it is to wait for something only for it not to work in the correct way. I have indeed been in exactly the same place and all I can say wait it out and it will all come good in the end.
Secondly I have the exact same drop outs as you and like yours I can only fit a 1.3 in max....although I was just looking at the drop puts themselves and came up with an idea that could be simpler that making a whole new frame. Why not ask 14 if the can machine a new set of the inserts for the dropouts with the part that the axle sits in slightly (5-8mm) further back than It currently sits? That way the wheel would sit further back in the frame and give clearance for a bigger tyre...? I might be talk crap out of my mouth but it is a quicker easier option that a new frame????Otherwise Hayden will buy your old one as he needs a new bike and only wants small tyres...

When and where would the contract need to be looked over, if there is a time and date when someone can look at it then I would be happy to go if I am free too. When are we going to discuss things with the roller girls?? Would be good to sort this and would be happy to help in any way I can even if it's just cycling around with a piece of paper for people to look at.
As for the £45 subs, I thought when Jim became treasurer that we were all going to pay £15 a month regardless of tournaments or not, so that we have extra money for when things need to be bought or in case we need to pay up some money like in this case. Is everyone paying?

My first 14 was good, although dan is right, the rear disc mount did not work at all, so 14 sorted me out with a new frame-rather than taking the paint off and changing the whole rear end on the frame I had-the new one which is exactly like jimmys, it has sliding drop outs so I can run a disc on the rear, although there is no way I can now fit a 1.5 in there. But I wanted to run 1.3 anyways, so it's fine for me. Although I think 14 need to work out what the customer wants and have to make sure they can make it happen before building/send the frame to the customer.
I think an oak seems now to be the best opinion I terms of gettin what you want and actually being able to speak to the builder about what you want from your custom frame...

Changed the head tube angle, but not the rear end, which was the thing that was wrong.
