Pretty keen for 27.5.

I'm thinking of getting a hardtail instead of my dualy as most of my mates ride CX bikes on the trails. I'm all about the more difficult runs but I'm missing out on gravel rides / green runs as it's a struggle to keep up with them.
The Cotic soul 275 look amazing but you don't get many down under. I'm looking at a second hand cheapish bike too sadly.
Any suggestions?
