Have you ever cycled to Watford?

Haha, no, never been to Watford at all! Perhaps on my next weekend cycling adventure. May or may not have it overlap with tagging...

Hmmm, I think there have been tags equally far out. Using M25 as a boundary seems a bit excessive - if tag moves to Watford I'm giving up (well, complaining quite a lot). Interesting tag, though.

What's excessive about using the M25 as a boundary? You pass through places that you've never seen before, go up a few hills, get a bit of fresh air and generally have an ace time.

TAKE IT TO WATFORD!!!

So I went out a) for a ride in the countryside, b) to sit in a quiet park and do some reading and c) to move the tag as far away from Hackney as possible. Lo and behold, the new tag gets moved closer on my return journey! Thanks cox.

Not at all; a good industrial designer will have excellent knowledge of materials (I am one myself). This is what differentiates a good designer from a bad one!

What's particularly ridiculous is that they claim this could somehow be practical. I guess that's what differentiates a good designer from a bad designer.

By the sounds of it it's made out of PEEK, really expensive thermoplastic polymer that's ridiculously tough. But the stiffness of anything that can be injection moulded is shiiiiiiiiiit.

Edit: Phil website also says 6000 for Formula hubs.

thanks tim. yeah, i've steered away from ceramics after reading around a bit. I'll try ringing BLB, maybe they can say exactly which ones i need.

Anyone know which size sealed bearing cartridges go in the BLB hubs? I see UK Bike Store sells steel ones, but any idea where I could get semi ceramic ones?
