To fund my next project, I'm offering these wooden bars for sale. (Bike not included)

I made them myself from 8 plys of laminated ash and have been riding them regularly for about a year. Ash is the same timber that cricket bats are made from, and the laminated construction makes for a strong bar.
These are very light (it will surprise you) and have a wonderful grain. They also feel amazing in the hands and being made of wood, are fantastic at absorbing vibration.
The bars are in great condition with some minor marks from the stem and levers. These can be sanded out if so desired, but I see no need for this. The ends of the bars have not suffered any crash damage and the laminate is still strong with no splintering or other damage. The bars have been finished with linseed oil and will benefit from an extra coat every now and again, especially in winter. If you were wondering, linseed oil is very easy and inexpensive to come by!
Because of the time invested in these, I'm looking for serious offers around £70. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Nick

I know this isn't bike related but I'm hoping someone on these forums might want to give my DW practise Drum Set a home. I've owned it for a while now but don't really use it anymore. It's still in great condition and it's a shame it no longer gets used.

As you can see, the pads are a little dirty from use and the metal arms have some minor tape marks (which I may be able to clean off) from where I've used tape to mark the position of each pad.
These retail at £160 new. Does anyone care to make an offer?
Please feel free to forward this to friends or relatives should you think they may be interested.
Best,
Nick

I have a pair of Shimano R450's going spare if anyone wants them? They're in excellent condition and still have some limited life left in the pads. These brakes retail for £20 each on CRC. I would happily accept £20 for both.
I also have a pair of CanCreek Crosstop levers which I no longer require. These are also in good condition but are missing the screws that tighten the clamps around the bars.
Anyone offer £15 for the pair?

Best,
Nick

I hope no one objects to this being posted on here; I hope some of you might be motorbike riders too!
I have a brand new Nitro motorbike helmet with box and slip cover that I need to pass on. It was bought for a photoshoot and has never been ridden or worn on the road. The helmet is a size M and you're welcome to come and try it for size.
Should anyone be able to make use of this or no someone who might, please get in touch with a sensible offer.
Best,
Nick

I hope no one minds this being posted on here but I tend to trust you guys more than those who respond through GumTree!
I have a brand new Akito jacket with removable liner and Knoxx armour knocking about. This was used for a photoshoot and has never been ridden on the road. It's been in strorage for a while now and I think it's time it stopped taking up space and was used!
The jacket comes with a hanger and a slip cover for protection when in storage. It's very comfortable for someone who normally takes a small (around 38" chest)
If anyone is interested or knows someone who is, please get in contact with a sensible offer.

I have a wonderful Rickshaw Bags waterproof messenger that is surplus to requirements and needs a good home. It is a very unusual example and is very well made.
The bag was used for a photoshoot and still has its tags having never really been ridden. As such, it's in great condition. It has a waterproof fabric ensuring your stuff stays dry and is made from recycled plastic bottles woven into a herringbone tweed pattern. Rickshaw are based in San Fran and as an added bonus will fix your bag or alter it as required should it break or wear out.
You can read more here:
http://www.rickshawbags.com/laptop-messenger-bags/zero-messenger-bags.html
Total cost of this bag was $120 inc. cross strap added to stop the bag from sliding when worn. Due to its condition, I'm looking for £65.

It is a shame that this bag doesn't get used so please let me know if you are interested.

I'm hoping someone out there has a macbook with a broken screen that they have decided not to repair. I'm looking for one for an upcoming project and am trawling the net to try and find a deal. It doesn't even have to have a hard drive or battery!
Only requirements are:
Aside from screen, keyboard and optical drive, it must work.
Processor must be a core 2 duo
It must be relatively cheap!
If anyone has anything suitable then please get in touch.
Best,
Nick

I wish it were that easy! I've built this frame from scratch at home and need the threads cleaning up after manufacture. I did think about trying to build something from an old BB but I really need a proper tap on this occasion.
Brick lane bikes would charge £60 for the three services, just like 2WheelsGood. Seems like this might be pretty standard...

Sorry to jump into the thread like this but I'm also needing some help in this area.
I've just built a frame at home and need someone to face and chase by BB, headset and seat post. Are you able to do this retro_di_corsa?
I'm nearly done with my clean up and haven't yet looked into this final step. How much would one typically ask for such a job?
Thanks in advance and apologies for interrupting once again.

Thanks for the correction adroit. I can make great wooden bars but clearly would not make a good pub quiz member.
Due to the lamination process and the nature of wood grain, a compound curve is very difficult to achieve making drops pretty hard to construct. If I ever get around to trying, I'll let you know!
