Im looking forward to the Deal with it reunion and then Comeback kid/Xibalba should be fun. Full of Hell are also playing soonish although Im not sure Im in a huge hurry to see them again, I've seen them live twice now and both times the set consisted 30% songs and 70% industrial white-noise and shrieking

Ill post up a picture in a bit of the dagger he did for me today.
Agreed.
Here is the list of current trends. From here you can choose something to be on your body forever, because its cool.
[]folky british woodland animals (rabbits, owls, foxes, etc)
[]any animal with horns, even inappropriate ones (jackalopes etc)
[*]'traditional' flash (daggers, banners, gypsy women, swallows, ships etc)
[]twee lineart illustration of any of the above. If you can add jewellery, all the better.
[]any kind of geometric pattern (the new tribal)
[*]absolutely anything reproduced from antique woodcuts or etchings (deeeep)These things are guaranteed never to go out of style. You will be, like, one of those cool old guys with loads of tattoos. Totally.
nerged ;p

I plan to visit Japan sometime soon and this is a concern of mine.
Japan is tough, I spent three weeks there and had to live on oreos and rice balls a lot of the time. There are however lots of amazing vegan restaurants in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. Id also highly recommend getting yourself a "vegan passport" its a great way to explain what you do and dont eat in situations where the language barrier is an issue.
LFGSS vegan trip to Japan anyone?

Just a quick heads up, Xam is now working on a different waiting list system to before. Essentially he is now booking in three month blocks and making time for smaller one hit pieces. What that means is that if you want to get tattooed by him, email him or 7doors with what you want and if he can fit you in you should only have a few weeks wait max. The catch is that he will be picking a choosing only pieces that he want to do so if you don't hear back from him he's probably not interested.
Ill post up a picture in a bit of the dagger he did for me today.

^^I agree that hardcore has evolved a lot over time and I get that a lot of stuff these days is a lot more metal influenced than it is minor threat influenced but hardcore has evolved in different ways in different places. I think that what makes hardcore hardcore is the message and the spirit behind the music not necessarily the musical influence.

I get what Jeez is saying, personally Id love it if this thread was just non stop NYHC like cro-mags and leeway but I also appreciate that hardcore means different things to different people. I really don't like power-violence but I can see how its relevant to this thread so I accept it and move on and post some Merauder to compensate haha.
Speaking of Merauder

Thanks Indra, hopefully the post issue will be sorted soon, I really love the look of the heylight post so Ill be disappointed if I cant use it.
I think the logos on the stem are lacquered over, I cant really be bothered sanding the lacquer back to remove them but I may try giving it a go with some nail polish remover at some point to see if that does the trick. -

Decided to take the bike outside for a quick BAAW/Scoblebrick measurment shot. My seatpost woes are still ongoing but Im hopefully getting a thomson to stick on for the time being so I can use the crabon smud saddle. Chainring is also temporary although I have no idea when Rotir UK will actually get in any of the 2014 chainrings so it may be there for a while.

Does anyone know whether there is such a thing as standard rail width for saddles? By width I mean the distance between the two rails.
I ended up having to order a new oversized cradle for my heylight seatpost but I still cant get the damn thing to work. I've tried it with a Concor (old not modern), Rolls, SLR and my new Smud carbon saddle but none of them fit. The triangular yokes are too wide to sit between the rails.
Any ideas?
