The Gti6 is actually a far better car than the 205 gti. Their value is creeping up but I doubt they will ever attain cult status.
And that one will need a bit of work to be right. Factor in a rear beam rebuild and new lower control arms to make the car drive how it should. And the clutch shudder will be a new clutch and skim the flywheel.

Ah, si. I have had a 2011 A3 and currently an A4 Avant. I never loved the A3 but it was good for long drives and felt very solid. Interior was very well made and didn't show its age. No issues apart from a major engine rebuild at 60,000 kilometres. Paid for by Audi. My current A4 actually seems slightly less well built but so far zero issues after 2 years... It's a 2015 model with 70,000 kays. They do a lot of stuff well, just don't engage much as drivers cars. They're a bit dull.

I recently bought a zorloo Stella usb-c MQA DAC to use with tidal on my pixal 4a. $149 aud later and MQA doesn't decode out from tidal. Do research, poo, android doesn't pass "bit perfect" stream out of the USB. Buy 3rd party app with MQA plug-in, $20 later and several digs into the settings... Yay, I have tried MQA playback. Can't really tell the difference! I have a set of westone IEM that I use as the are very clean sounding and not bass boosted or anything and maybe there's a bit more seperation of sounds and touch more sense of silence between notes. But marginal and not worth the faff or the money.

In regards to this how many watches is too many... Well, lately I've been so busy with work/life that I'm either wearing my Speedmaster or my little square G-Shock. All the others in the watch box have sat there forgotten. The speedy does work days and the G-Shock is everything else because it can be worn anywhere. Even my divers stay out of the surf. Lately the swell has been large so a heavy diver will get ripped off where the g is nice and secure.

The blue 550i looks great... That is probably one of the few perfect family cars... Proper estate, potent enough engine, manual and probably handles nicely. If there's no rattling or smoke then it tends to suggest the mechanical parts are good... Might just be sensors/Vanos stuff. It wouldn't turn me off. (I have poor judgement). As for the dealer, sounds like a lot of trouble to just triple bluff someone... I'd tend to take the discount and use the savings at an independent specialist.
