I'm fairly certain this is part of our current trade dilemma between Aus and China - they buy the vast majority of our coal for steel production so any disruption to that supply causes more issues than simply power production.

Those low profile racks are only really a problem if you open your sunroof. Thats why you see them on cars with elevated roof rails, not flush ones. I had to fit pretty ugly bars to the Audi for this reason. Annoying.
