What are they worth now? I have one that I was considering selling... haven't used it for a few years now... on the other hand it is a proper solid bit of kit that'll last a lifetme if I keep her... decisions!

Well I see them going on ebay for as little as £70, however the reason I don't wanna get on on their is that I really want to inspect the camera in my own hands before I buy it.

I am selling my Digital SLR and thought it would be a good idea to post it on here where I'm sure there are some camera enthusiasts lurking.

It is a Nikon D40 body with a Nikkor 18-55mm DX lens. It has seen extremely occasional use as I much prefer film photography. Bought the lens brand new about 2 months ago so is in perfect condition. There are a few veryyy minor scratches on the body and the LCD has had a screen protector on it from when it was first taken out of the box so it is in great condition.

I am looking to do a large number of conversion projects mostly to help out friends and relatives, and I am looking to find cheap parts (cranksets, bars, seats etc). I know parts can be cheaply sourced in Asia e.g. Taiwan, but I have no Idea how to go about this.
