I've not tried bio oil yet, though about to.

But vitamin e oil (the most natural you can find) also works really well. I use them on my piercings (stretching/looking after earlobes) and dry skin.
I have problems with ezcema & very mild acne, but this was solved after getting the right stuff from a visit to the dermatologist after pestering my GP!
