Yeah, seems quite strange. Granted they don’t roll as good as a race day tyre, but the puncture protection is amazing. I’ve probably done 12,000 miles on them (different tyres of course) and doubt I’ve had more than a handful of punctures.

Just off to do a little credit card tour of the Hebrides and Skye with my girlfriend. Took the Panaracer SK’s off and put on my favourite tyre of all time; Conti 4 Seasons in 32mm.

Sadly Edinburgh Council removed this and a few of the other ones.

I don't need another brakeless track bike, but I can't resist this Terry Dolan.

The wheels are borrowed of my other bike just to check fit, but I'll probably relace the rims to some Campag hubs with silver spokes. Then it just needs a crankset and BB and I'm good to go.

I need some back-up tyres now; anyone have any Conti GP 4000 II's in 23mm they'd like to shift?

Summer is here and I need some back-up tyres for my skidder.

Does anybody have any Conti GP 4000 II's in the now unfashionable size of 23mm that they would like to sell me? Would also take a set of 4 Seasons.

They'll need posting to Edinburgh but I will cover postage.
