I recently bought what was advertised as a 'Merlin malt' mtb frame for £20.
*

I contacted Merlin (logo 1) the titanium bike manufacturer in USA and they said it's not one of theirs.
I always presumed the two logos below belonged to the same company but were from different periods in time.
Logo 1:

Logo 2:
(note same font as the frame)I presume my bike is belonging to the lower manufacturer (logo 2).
If anybody can help me out identifying the frame that'd be geat.
the bb is stamped A480-X and 0326700420.
I'm converting it to single speed so thought it'd be acceptable to post here.more pics can bee seen at: http://img28.imageshack.us/g/dscn0770y.jpg/
Any info will be much appreciated

i don't know what to say, i know we both mean well coppiThat. All the sound advice though.
Tbh i'm just hoping for a legendary bargain, but as we all know that happens very rarely.Fuck I just told Mozzer to suck eggs.
In the words of mozza:
"Beware !
I bear more grudges
Than lonely high court judges
When you sleep
I will creep
Into your thoughts
Like a bad debt
That you can't pay
Take the easy way
And give in" -

lets approach this from another angle. why do you think it makes a difference?
well if you bid £51.01, and the current *highest *bid is £50.00 then the £1.01 increase should make you the highest bidder.
That's why i think it would make a difference.(i understand the example given for the frame in question is unrealistic)
