The first time I did 150mph+ it felt like warp speed, the second time it felt noticeably slower which was frightening. For me climbing the cc ladder was like an enjoyable apprenticeship but once you've ridder a 1000cc sports bike it all gets a bit silly. Ironically it also gets a bit boring riding a fast bike slow than a slower bike fast. Aware I'm preaching to the choir here but hope all works out with the sale/whatever's next.

Good point. I'll check my manual but presume the 0.30mm acceptable runout accounts for the semi-floating discs. Not exactly scientific, but fairly confident I can see the wobble by eye. Spinning the wheel by hand with no brake pressure causes resistance on the pads which also makes me think the discs are shagged.

I'm more one for learning on the bike, but what I've found useful for knee down/body position:
- You are leaning off to keep the bike upright mid-corner, as big lean is dangerous
- Inside arm bent, outside arm straight
Having said that I personally won't try knee down on UK roads with our mouth-breather drivers. Like a lot of people say, doing track days calms you down on the road.

For the record, I'd own an ex filth Vauxhall Omega, SD1 or Volvo 850 in a heartbeat but get your point :)
