I agree on the lack of front fairing, something quite muscular about the look. There's a guy on Instagram I follow who has fitted retro fairings to his modern sportsbike, with the belly-pan section removed which works really well. Shame to cover up those stainless pipes too eh.
I bought a sightly better workbench from eBay yesterday for the pillar drill, nice to have it closer to eye level and storage underneath is always useful. I did move the drill onto the new workbench myself though, which wasn't my proudest moment considering how heavy it is. Either that or I need to up my Weetabix intake.

Just crossposting from here, the SRAD is taxed, MOTed and insured for the spring. The fully Yoshi system is just the right side of rowdy and the botty dyno approves of the upgrade. Still surprises me how eager this thing is for a 24 year old bike.

I'm considering finally saving up for a van, so speculatively looking at Transit Customs and VW Transporters for sale on ebay to get an idea on price. Quite a few appear very cheap, but not too good to be true, compared to the going rate (90%). I presume with these vehicles, and the owners they attract, there are a lot of scammers about?

This dog business is starting to make sense. We're on week 5(?) now and things are a lot more relaxed, we've been adventureus and taken him away to Mrs Jambon's parents for Easter and he's been good as gold. We were most worried about sleeping but he's become attached to his (previously our) duvet so just plonks himself there whichever room it's in. Certainly feels like progress from those first few days when there was a big black horse standing on our dining room table panting in distress. Thanks for all the help and humour. This is what I woke up to this morning.

Hatfield has been a cesspit long before this.
